Making A Difference For Life Banquet, Visalia – 09/11/18
Tulare-Kings Right to Life’s 23rd Annual Making a Difference for Life Fundraising Banquet’s keynote speaker was Atheist-turned-Christian author, Lee Strobel.
Lee Strobel, the former award-winning legal editor of The Chicago Tribune, is a New York Times best-selling author of more than twenty books. Lee serves as Professor of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University and as a Teaching Pastor at Woodlands Church in Texas. After investigating the evidence for Jesus, Lee became a Christian in 1981. In 2017, Lee’s spiritual journey was depicted in a major picture, The Case for Christ, which ranks among the top twenty faith-based films.
In addition to Strobel’s message, the TKRL was able to update the community on its educational and healing work through Latinos4Life, Voices for Life and The IRMA Network. Over the past year, TKRL has reached literally thousands of local residents with the truth about abortion, early human development, and healthy relationships.
