Click here to view a larger image! Our second annual GAP was held again this past winter at the College of Sequoias in Visalia on February 6th and 7th.. After the phenomenal success of last year's project, TKRL was excited to host this dynamic project exposing the truth about abortion.

Since February is Black History Month, TKRL wanted to use this year's GAP to place a special emphasis on abortion's devestating impact on the Black Community. To this end, we invited Reverend Clenard Childress, Northeast Director of the Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN) and founder for the website BlackGenocide.org, to be our keynote speaker and event leader. Rev. Childress is an experienced and articulate advocate for the unborn, and has participated in numerous rallies, marches, and other events reaching the African-American community.

For those of you who haven't seen it, the GAP is a sight to behold. Consisting of twelve 8’ x 3’ graphic pictures portraying the Nazi Holocaust, the lynching of African-Americans, and abortion, it depicted the horror of genocide – both historical and modern (Click here for more pictures of this year's event).

As TKRL’s Youth Outreach Coordinator, I’m often told how encouraging it is to “see the youth get involved” in pro-life ministry. This project was no exception. Thanks to your prayers and support, we truly are “Making a Difference for Life” among the youth of Tulare and Kings Counties.

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
