Our Issues

Abortion

Abortion is the deliberate act of ending a developing human life before birth. Every unborn child has an inherent right to life and deserves protection.

At Tulare-Kings Right to Life, we believe in the dignity and value of every life—both mother and child. We oppose abortion and advocate for life-affirming alternatives that support women, families, and unborn children. Our mission is to educate the public, offer compassionate resources, and stand as a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

As Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Infanticide

Infanticide is the act of ending an infant’s life by withholding medical care or treatment. Newborns with disabilities, such as Down syndrome and spina bifida, are among the most vulnerable.

We believe that every child—regardless of ability—deserves love, care, and medical support. No diagnosis should determine a child’s worth or right to life. Society has a responsibility to protect and advocate for the most defenseless among us.

Euthanasia & Assisted Suicide

Euthanasia is the intentional ending of a life, either by withholding basic care (passive euthanasia) or by direct action, such as administering lethal drugs (active euthanasia). Assisted suicide involves providing the means for an individual to end their own life.

True compassion does not end a life—it seeks to eliminate suffering through physical, emotional, and spiritual care. Tulare-Kings Right to Life opposes euthanasia and assisted suicide, advocating instead for quality end-of-life care that upholds the dignity of every person.

Stem Cell Research & Human Cloning

Stem cell research holds promise for medical advancement, but not all methods respect human life. Embryonic stem cell research requires the destruction of a human embryo, ending a life in its earliest stage. Tulare-Kings Right to Life opposes any research that comes at the cost of human life.

However, adult stem cells—collected from bone marrow, cord blood, and other sources—have successfully treated numerous diseases without harming the donor. We fully support ethical scientific advancements that honor the sanctity of life.

Similarly, therapeutic human cloning creates and destroys human embryos for research purposes. Every human life, no matter how small, deserves dignity and protection.
