24th Annual Tournament a Great Success

A Beautiful Day on the Course

The 24th Annual Golf for Life Tournament was a tremendous success as 22 teams gathered at the beautiful Visalia Country Club for a day of golf, fellowship, and support for the mission of Tulare-Kings Resources for Life.

Players enjoyed excellent weather as they took to the course for a shotgun start. Throughout the day, golfers connected with friends, supporters, and local businesses while competing for prizes and helping advance the cause of life throughout Tulare and Kings Counties.

We are especially grateful to our Event Sponsor, Dix Machine Shop, Inc., whose support helped make this year’s tournament possible. Special thanks also go to Spirit Radio for joining us, A&W Truck for bringing one of their impressive trucks to display, and Ed Dena for providing the exciting Hole-in-One Truck challenge.

Following a great day on the course, participants gathered for a luncheon and awards ceremony. During lunch, attendees enjoyed a live auction featuring several exciting items, helping raise additional support for the work of Resources for Life.

Golfers also heard a brief presentation from Executive Director Ann Marie Paden, who shared more about the mission of Tulare-Kings Resources for Life and the impact supporters are making through their involvement and generosity.

Awards were then presented to the top teams:

1st Place received an incredible prize package courtesy of Tachi Palace, including a complimentary one-night stay, a $150 spa certificate, and a $75 dinner certificate.

2nd Place winners received $50 El Tarasco gift cards for each player.

3rd Place winners were awarded beautiful potted plants for each member of their team.

The luncheon also included an exciting announcement regarding our upcoming Advancing the Mission event. Attendees received a first look at the 2026 event details, which are now available, with tickets going on sale July 1. We look forward to another inspiring evening as we continue advancing the mission of life in our community.

Most importantly, the tournament provided a wonderful opportunity for supporters to come together, enjoy a great day of golf, and help further the mission of educating, restoring, and defending life in our community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, prize donors, and supporters who made this event such a success. We also look forward to continuing our tradition of hosting the Golf for Life Tournament on the Monday following Father’s Day each year.
