Restoration
Restoration
Healing is at the heart of our mission. TKRL offers compassionate retreats and support for those carrying the pain of abortion, miscarriage, abuse, or other life wounds. Our programs provide a safe place to grieve, process, and discover peace, hope, and renewal—reminding each person of their immeasurable worth.
Weekend Retreats (Rachel’s Vineyard, Grief to Grace)
Abortion, abuse, and other deep wounds often leave men and women carrying silent grief for years. Our weekend retreats, including Rachel's Vineyard and Grief to Grace, provide safe, confidential spaces for participants to confront their pain and begin healing. Through prayer, counseling, and the support of others who share similar experiences, participants encounter God's mercy and discover that they are not alone. Many leave these weekends with a renewed sense of peace, restored relationships, and a new hope for the future.
Bible Studies (Surrendering the Secret)
For women who have experienced abortion, healing often comes step by step, through the truth of God's Word. Surrendering the Secret is a small-group Bible study, led by a woman who has experienced abortion and has found peace through healing. The study provides a path to forgiveness and restoration. In the company of other women who understand the struggle, participants walk through Scripture, prayer, and open conversation, finding freedom from guilt and shame. By the end of the study, many discover a deeper connection to God and a new confidence to live fully in His grace.
Memorialization (Embrace Ministry)
Grief does not end when a pregnancy ends, whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion. Our partnership with the Embrace Ministry of Central California helps families honor and remember their children in meaningful ways. Through memorial services, keepsakes, and opportunities for public acknowledgment, grieving parents find healing by giving voice to their love and loss. This ministry offers a place where sorrow is recognized and where every child's life, no matter how short, is cherished and remembered.
Men’s March on Mooney
New to TKRL. For many men, the effects of abortion or loss are often overlooked, leaving them without a clear path to healing. The Men's March is not only a call to action but also a space for men to reclaim their role as protectors and leaders. Standing shoulder to shoulder, they find strength and solidarity, reminding one another that they are not powerless and that their voices matter in both advocacy and healing.
